Update On My Dad

So as you may know, my Dad was sent to the ER almost 2 weeks ago on Monday (8/13). He had a seizure, heart attack, and respiratory failure. He was in ICU for 7 days. A couple days ago he was transferred to to a rehab center. Not sure how long he will be there but right now he can't swallow stuff. But he can talk and move around.

I thank the Lord for the healing that has been given and pray for further healing.

Great to hear he's mobile and talking! Hope he's able to swallow soon. I'll continue to keep you, him, and the rest of your family in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear abot this. 5 years ago my granfather had a severe stroke and he could not swallow. After a full year of therapy...He was finally able to swallow again. Stay by your dads side and be as supportive as you can.

If it would be of any help, I could try to find out who my grandfathers therapist was. They worked mirales for him. i wish you all the best.

Your family is in our prayers. My dad was sent to the ER for a little episode that was very scary. Had a brain aneurism 10 years to that day! So it was defiantly a scare. I wish you the best of luck. He needs you to be with him.
