Lost a whole clutch today

Well, I was very curious why my clutch hadnt started poking their heads out yet. I had cut on day 55 and today was day 59.

Long story short is the mold that I thought was long gone weeks ago must have been hanging out in the vermiculite. 1 of the little guys was covered in it, and the rest were just dead.

Total out of 4 eggs I lost 1 normal, 3 pastels, and a pewter. I HAD TWINS!

I was going to take pictures to document this to maybe help somebody from making the same mistake, but I was just way to upset.

That is my worst fear come true as I am sure with the rest of us. I am so sorry for your loss:( I would be completely devastated as well. Wish there was something I could say or do to make it better. Hugs
