    Anyone Good At Bowling?
My work bowling league is starting back up. I am a 160 avg bowler. And I'd like to get higher by improving my spare game. I have a heavy (15 lb) ball with good natural rotation on it. I've been reading about something called the 3-6-9 rule for people that don't have plastic spare ball. Do anyone of you use this? More importantly, does it work?

    Thanks.

I have heard and read about it but i have never tried it. I personally use something similar, as far as which direction I move to pick up spares... But I definitely don't move exactly 3/6/9 boards... It's more like a estimate for me lol. A lot of people I bowl with use it and it works for them. I mostly depend on practice and knowing how my ball moves. I have a 185 average and I leave an average of 1 frame open per game.

    lol 160+ AVERAGE!

I bowled when I was younger and my highest game ever was 160 or so, I would have killed to have an average that high!

I probably hit up the bowling alley for four games or so a few times a year, and am glad to break 100 each game.
