Just got a lavendar albino!

So I already had a male & female albino but I saw a guy selling another male for $250 on CL (I got a Bee & rack from him before real cheap). He was going through a divorce and needed money bad. When looking at the picture, it looked like a lavendar. I asked him and he said it was a normal. Well I bought it today (it is a July 2012) and come to find out it is a lavendar! Dark ruby eyes and 3/4 of the body has that purple color.

I can't believe I just got a $1,000 - $2,000 snake for $260 bucks!

Anyone know what the odds are if I breed him to the regular albino how many will come out lavendar? I guess I could go the het route for lavendar but since I already got a female thought I would ask.

Can you post pic's? I doubt someone would be selling a Lavender albino on CL.

Yeah Pictures...and for such a low price I'd question if it was hot or not. Lavenders don't even wholesale for less than $1,500.

Pretty sure the guy would know what he paid for it, and would have known if it was a lavender albino.

I agree with posting pics, but I don't necessarily doubt you. I got my leopard for a fraction of the price they are worth, and I still don't know why. I guess my main concern with a super cheap morph would be illness, so make sure you quarantine.

Also, lavender albino isn't compatible with regular albino, so all of the babies would be normal.

I just changed my profile pic to the pic of the albino. Don't know how long it will take to see.

You just bought an Albino, not a Lavender Albino.

His avatar is the "Lav. Albino", it's just an Albino.

to answer your original question, if it is a lavender it will not be compatible with the more common 'typical' albinos. at least to the best of my knowledge. I've never owned either morph.
