    Where do you clean?
    I'm not a clean freak.

I don't take special precautions with my reptiles that I should in terms of preventing the spread of germs.

    But...

What sink do you guys use to clean poop out of a water bowl in, for instance? Why?

I use my bathtub because I use tubs and I can always spray my bathtub with disnifectant before I take a bath.

I use a bathroom sink. Its just 5 feet away from my rack. But I honestly don't think it would be more unsanitary using the kitchen sink since my roommates are filthy slobs.....

*knocks on wood* I have not yet had anyone poop in their water bowl. I also use my bath tub when deep cleaning/f10 soaking. For water changes I use bathroom sink. I always clorox the sink when I am done. And disenfect bathtub after snake tub cleaning before we go in.

I also use the bathroom sink and tub for cleaning. It is no big deal to rinse it and spray disinfectant and walk away.

I also use the bath tub. Easy to disinfect afterwards and everything fits in there at once, bowls, hides, rocks etc

If it's really messy I'll just take it outside and dump in our compost/yard waste area and pre-rinse with a hose. After that it's just some bleach solution inside, using the bathroom tub if necessary, and air dry

Water bowl's get cleaned every other day in the kitchen sink. For the monthly clean everything goes outside the back door (itis a couple feet away) and hosed down and treated with F10. But this is the easiest way to clean the way I have my snakes and rats set up :)

I'm not sure why I haven't been disinfecting the sink after using the chlorhex on the tubs/bowls...

I've used the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and bathtub. It depends on what I'm cleaning (bowls, hides, tubs) and where the snakes are located in the house (I've moved a few times since I've been keeping reptiles). And Mr. Lang, I would say that you don't need to clean the sink if you already use bleach in the cleaning water.
