    Rescued a five lined skink
Somehow or another, a five lined skink ended up in my house, and my cat was playing with it. I hate to be pessimistic, but I'm pretty sure he's going to die. Nonetheless, I would like to try to save him. Does anyone have any advice?

What kind of damage are we talking about? A description or some pics (non-graphic I suppose, since there isnt a warning) would be very helpful.

I used to do the same thing in North Carolina when the cat would get Anoles.

The only damage that I can see are scratches and dents on his scales. He's able to move a little, but he's mostly stationary. This makes me worry that he has some internal damage. I have him in a warmish (~80F) Critter Keeper on clean paper towels with a bottlecap of water in case he decides to drink. If he's going to die, he's going to do so in comfort.
