would you buy something like this??? ( DIY enlcosure )
hey guys, i was just sittin on my lazy boy watching my bps and had an idea... would anyone be interested in buying something like what i have built? (preferably not as big cause its a bus...) i want something to do in my free time so was wondering if anyone had any special requests, plans, ideas, ect ect... i used 3/4 melamine for the entire enclosure and used white board for the backing, i used sliding glass doors with 2" substrate dam. cauked everything and used 3" vents on either side (glued and caulked) i also just added cabinent doors on the bottom storage area which turned out really nice. i heat it using 52' of reptile heating cable underneith a 1/8" pane of glass to act as a uth. the measurments are 36x24x12"

i also can use plywood if anyone would prefer that. let me know what you think!!!

    heres some pictures

Once I'm not living in a tiny apartment, I would love to buy something like this. Unfortunately, that won't be for a few years :/ Anyway, I especially love the extra storage space. I bet other people would agree and would be happy to buy something so nice :)

Thanks :) but I could also easily do a single enclosure. I bet I could do stands or storage for really anything. My mind is open :D

Be very careful doing this, glass, in contact or near heat sources, will crack and expose lethal edges. Better to use either polycarbonate or acrylic sheets.

Would be awesome for beardies! I would buy if the price was right. X2 on the glass comment though. I used plexiglass on the beardie enclosures I built.

I would definately be a taker if the price was right. I would prefer no glass as well though. I live in the Pensacola area.

Its actually heat resistant double pane. Its rated to like 480 degrees. What sizes would u all be looking at so I could get a quick quote

If you mean the black stuff it is spray on chalk board, I use it to keep track of whos in what, when they last fed and when I did a full cleaning.
