    Super Dwarf Retics
Decided to get some updated pic's of my Super Dwarves the other day.

First up is the pure Super Dwarf female, she is in a 32 quart Steralite tub for size comparison. She is just over a year old, and just started taking medium rats.

Next is the male Super Dwarf Tiger, he is 75% Super Dwarf, and also in a 32 quart tub. He is almost two years old.

I'm not familiar with the super Dwarfs. How are they , temperment wise, personality, and adult sise compared with the non super dwarfs? Are their care needs the same? I have always thought the Retics were some of the most beautiful giants out there. They have such intelligent looking faces.

so, super dwarf average growth would be, compared to an adult normal retic?

(I don't know sizes for larger breeds like retics/burms) as I've been only in the ball category (due to bylaws and such)

    Thanks,

great patterns on both, very different. :gj:

Both of these Super Dwarves are very easy to handle, once out of there tubs. Pure Super Dwarves usually only get between 6-7 feet in length, so I figured the male who is 75% Super Dwarf may get about 8-9 at the most. Their care is about the same as a mainland Retic, but with out the huge cage requirements.

I wouldnt say a 75% would hit 8-9ft by any means... I have a 2009 50% sd dh axanthic and albino female that is right at 8ft, she eats like a pig, and is huge compared to her litter mates..... Most of your 75%sd stuff stays in general as small as your pure sd stuff.... I have seen 3-4 year old sd tigers that were maybe 5ft long and ping pong ball sized around.....

I love the sd stuff, cant wait to see more stuff coming out.... my dh female will be breeding a dh axanthic albino male this year, and hopefully produce the very first Blizzard... If not at a minimum I need a male albino poss het axanthic to put to my female 50% sd tiger het albino...... I really need some sd platinum and granite back stuff
