Re: Using your own packaging
ok cool. Does it have to say anything special or just live harmless reptile on it?

Also, does the 3/4 in insulation really matter with them or can it be 1/2 inch?
Re: Using your own packaging
ok, thanks but now that I figured out the price it seems it would be cost effective to just purchase the boxes. Thanks for your help!

Not sure how often you ship but that would be the best way to get a package open if any suspicion arise and the animal ceased due to improper labeling :gj:

You are required to mark the outside of the package as "wildlife" and have itemized paperwork (i.e. customer receipt) inside the top flap with more species information and quantities available for easy reference.

Are there people shipping without labeling their boxes? Yes but because they do does not mean people should.
How do I label my boxes.
Wildlife - Live Harmless Reptile
Scientific name, common name and number of animals included in the box.

Deborah is spot on with labeling requirements but this is incorrect as well. A minimum 3/4'' insulation is mandatory NOT 1/2''.

Mandatory? From where have you gleaned this? Seems to me that if you don't need the extra thickness there's no reason to use it.

Depends on the temps...I would think 1/2 inch is fine in most cases...
