    giant/super giant break down
Can anyone tell me the requirements for a leopard gecko to be considered giant and super giant? I've seen the break down before but can't remember where or what it is. Thanks all....

nevermind i found the answer on embergecko.com

here it is if you all are interested:

How do I know if I have a Giant or Super Giant? And other Giant Leopard Gecko Facts?

    Size:

The main rule to remember is simply this. Your Leopard Gecko must reach the size listed below in its first 12 months of lifeto be considered a Giant or Super Giant. The only exception to this rule is if the parents are both giants or super giants. Note there are cases where a gecko does not grow out to its full potential in the first 12 months due to unforseen circumstances. This might include a change of cage or shipping to a new home durring the 12 month time frame. in cases like this i find myself being somewhat more lenient and will typically give the gecko some extra time to hit the minimum giant or Super Giant weight.

    •Super Giant
◦Male – Must reach at least 110 grams in its first 12 months of life.
◦Female – Must reach at least 90 grams in its first 12 months of life.

    •Giant
◦Male – Must reach at least 80 to 109 grams in its first 12 months of life.
◦Female – Must reach at least 60 to 89 grams in its first 12 months of life. I have noted that this female number is the most common size to hit in our experience.

    Breeding Expectations:

If you breed the following Super Giants and Giants you can expect to get back the following:
•Super Giant to Super Giant = 100% Super Giants.
•Super Giant to Giants = 50% Super Giants and 50% Giants.
•Super Giants to Normal sized Gecko = 100% giant.
•Giant to Giant = 25% Super Giants, 50% Giants, and 25% Normal sized.
•Giant to normal sized Gecko = 50% Giants and 50% Normal sized.

    History:

The first Giant was produced by Ron Tremper and introduced in August of 2002
