Hmmmm....could she get sick from this??
The three live juvvie rats she's eaten (like clockwork, :)) have been from the East Bay Vivarium, who I know for a fact keeps their rat bins almost spotlessly clean, are fed lab blocks, all sexed and carefully bred. today, however we didn't have time to drive up to Berkley so we ended up buying a little petstore feeder. Here the rats are kept in dirty tanks, all piled up on eachother eating hamster food.. :[ This little rat STANK btw, hope he does better in his next life. will this possibly cause any harm to little Indy? She's already eaten it....

I don't think it will hurt your snake, I personally wouldn't worry.

We have a pet store that keeps their rodents in some pretty disgusting enclosures. I breed my own rats now and am finishing off the f/t that I have but if it were me I wouldnt have purchased a rat coming from that kind of care. Snakes can miss a meal, its not gonna hurt em. I am just not ok with feeding snakes that I have spent a good deal of money on something that could possibly (even if the possibility is extremely low) cause harm to my snake. Its just my peace of mind...

Yeah-- I don't think I'm ever doing that again... only the best for Indy!
I'm someone who also keeps pet rats, so breeding my own would not work out.
I am hoping to get her eating f/t when she's a little older, for now I just want her eating.
