How many of you are seriously considering going to Daytona this year? If you are, would you consider a group of us trying to get a condo or B&B to share? If so...what is your price range for a 3 night stay?

The more people who are interested, the nicer a place we can get. But if we're going to really do this, it'll take a serious commitment because we won't be able to afford whatever we reserve if people change their minds and back out.

The prices in the poll above include all three nights...not per-night. They do not include food or entertainment.

I think it's a great idea! And I suggest this place as one of the rental candidates.

I've got that one bookmarked, as well as a couple others to consider. If anyone going wants to suggest a place to consider, just leave a link.

And please...if you vote...leave your name also so we'll know exactly who is interested.

I won't be able to make it until the year after next. But I will be able to help organize a get together for members. Lemme know if we got at least three people who are serious. I'll put it up on the homepage with some info about it. Gimme locations for all of you. The person driving from the farthest up north I hope should be willing to pick up a couple people on the drive down.

Count me in tho for next year. I think a really great option would be to head down two or three days prior, bring tents, and go herping. It'd be a herping event, and end in Daytona. I could check with some FL peeps for some good spots. My guess is that for gas, food, any other needs the cost'll be about 150$ a person assuming camping out if the prefered method.

Thought the webmaster won't be there for the first year, I'll be more then happy to help plan a bp.net get together.

That's a cool idea, Pops! I guess we just have to wait and see how many are interested. So far, it's just me and Marla.

Oh man, I would love to go but we leave for vacation in Ocean City on the 15th of Aug.
Darn, that would have been so much fun to hang out with ya and see that big awesome show.
I guess I will just have to go to NVRE show again on Aug.28th
Not a good sub for Daytona but will have to do :(
