Here's Rocco fat and happy in his warm hide after nailing a pre-killed rat. He did not eat last week. But I figured out that the Rat I was offering was way too big for him. So today I gave him an appropriate one. He nailed it. The. He was trying to swallow it sideways. After a minute or two, he dropped it and then gulped it right down head first. This is feed #2 since I've had him, plus a shed and a poop. I must be doing something right. My kids are already pushing for snake #2. My daughter wants a Jungle Carpet Python.
