Another Update on the Fire clutch!
So, I have been attempting to feed the babies from my fire clutch as most of you know. Last feeding day, three of them ate, and although they were fires, none of the eyeless babies ate. This past time, three ate again. This is the second food item for babies 2 and 10, and the first for # 5. None of the eyeless have eaten so far. But they do show interest in the prey. So for now patience is key. I will wait at least two more attempts before I intervene. The one I really worry about is baby #4, the girl with the deformed jaw. Thus far she does not tongue flick, she has a tongue, but seems not to know how to or be able to use it. She shows little interest in food, not surprisingly. I sincerely hope she will be able to eat, I dread the thought of what I must do if she cannot. :(

Keep my little ones in your thoughts, please. And I will keep updating their progress.

    Gale, Gale Gale!
Deformed jaws and eyeless baby ball pythons? Are these babies from your "exceptional" animals, and your "best of the best" stock?
Eyeless babies and babies with deformed jaws?
You're off to an "exceptional" start.
Toss them all in the freezer.
It's the right thing to do.

I've nNever produced an eyeless baby or a baby with a deformed jaw. You're off to a great start.
Toss them all in the freezer.

    Why don't you go away.

Didn't your mother teach you if you don't have anything nice to say, to say nothing at all?

Adding genetically defective babies into this already somewhat compromised gene pool is terribly irresponsible.

You know, if you weren't such a self absorbed looser, you'd know this happened because of an incubation accident. What, do accidents not happen to perfect people like you? I'd say what I really think of you, but momma told me never to use that kind of language in public.
