Axanthic Spider Questions???
I'm considering in the future breeding to get an Axanthic Spider...I've been doing a lot of reading and i'm just gonna throw my ideas down below and you guys can let me know which one of these will work for me, or maybe they will all work...I need your guys' knowledge.
Okay, Here Goes
1. Get an Axanthic Female and Breed with A Spider Male then Breed one of the Het Axanthic Spider Babies to the Axanthic Female Mother the following year.
2. Get an Axanthic Female and Breed with A Het Axanthic Spider Male to maybe produce on first clutch.
3. Get a Het Axanthic Female and Breed with A Het Axanthic Spider Male.
I'm not sure which of these options will work the best, maybe all of them have the same chances, I don't quite fully grasp Ball Python Genetics yet...Any help is Appreciated!!!
Re: Axanthic Spider Questions???
Okay cool, I checked out that site but it doesn't have Spider Het Axanthic listed to Calculate to...Do you happen to know the odds of getting an Axanthic Spider...Would it be a one in four chance or something else???

Here you can select any gene for a male and "breed" it to a female to see what the outcome will be. In order to select multiple genes for a given snake, simply hold the "ctrl" key while adding more genes. In order to breed a snake to a normal Ball Python, leave one side of the wizard blank and that snake will be treated as normal.
So to get a male spider het axanthic you have to select spider and get axanthic on the male side.
