How Much Dimpling is Too Much Dimpling?
    Hey Guys!

So I have my clutch of 6 eggs that has been sitting in the incubator now for exactly 1 month and 1 day. They are beginning the dimple, some deep dimples. The substrate is wet enough that you can see some standing water, they are on the light grate over it, so the humidity isn't low at all. I am just afraid that they might be dimpling too deep too fast or is it normal for the eggs to dimple significantly?

Pics may help?? Dimpling typically occurs about 14 days prior to hatching. What temp are you incubating at? Have you candled the eggs? You should start seeing some movement.

Absolutely, here are some pics of the clutch. I have candled. They all have good veins still and I have seen movement. I will include the videos too if I can.

This was the first candling video, you can see movement.

Second candling video, its harder to see movement, but its all the eggs and you can see the veins.

The incubation temp has been 89.8-90. It has a really small variance sometimes.

    How are they looking now?

You can try to use some Press N' Seal

Are your tubs tight? Do you open your tubs often? Was your humidity as close to 100% as possible.

2 Options here adding more water and eventually ad press and seal.

I use the same method every year (without press and seal) and my eggs are about that dimpled (if they do) during the last few days of incubation, the trick is for you to find the right balance, the medium must be humid enough but not cause excess condensation that can drip on your eggs.
