    BP hasn't pooped yet...
Hi, so my new BP hasn't pooped yet.
He last ate 5 days ago and still hasn't gone. I am a little concerned. I don't want to feed him again yet until he does go.
    Any ideas please?

Temps are good, 32C in the hotspot (sorry I don't know the temp in F; and thermostat controlled UTH), 27,6C on the cool side.
I saw him drinking two nights ago. Humidity is 60%
He moves between his 2 hides. He seems healthy besides the not pooping.

I also haven't handled him since he ate.

    Thank-you :)

Most BP's will only defecate after shedding, as long he doesn't look like he has a 'sausage butt' you have nothing to worry about and should continue to feed, my BP hasn't defecated since the 28th of july, but he is fine as long as the husbandry is ok and he is eating i am sure he is ok.

As you can see how many times i have fed my BP since he last defecated:

Oh cool, thank-you very much. No he does not have a sausage butt. He is my first BP and very new so I was worried. My corns poop a few days after every feeding so I wasn't sure how different a BP was with regards to pooping.

Thank-you for the prompt reply; I feel a lot better now :D

X2 I have a big 2100G girl who will only poop after a shed or an enclosure clean. I honestly think she does this on purpose. So you little guy is fine as long as they dont look like they have a sausage inside them at their tail your good :)

Yea, my new bumblebee hadn't pooped in the three weeks since I got her. Temps and everything else is good but she was getting the sausage butt. So, Saturday I took her out and sort of massaged her tail area, then I soaked her in some warm water (she didn't like that) for about 5 minutes, and then took her back out of the water and let he tail area move through my hands sort of massaging it again. Sure enough about 3 minutes later she let it out and it was NASTY!!!! On the other hand, my pastel seems to only go when he sheds and never gets the sausage butt.

They will poop when they need to. They don't poop after every meal like corns. Some every so often, some only when they shed. No worries, it should come when she's ready. She is probably just using up most of that meal, so not much to poo out.

Update - I just fed him and he took it nicely; within seconds of dangling the F/T mouse
