    Prey size
Hey, this is another question about prey size.. i know i done a thread about this last time but i just keep thinking i should up my BP's food but then i think no, and then the next day i think ye ill do that, i am currently feeding medium mice (18-20g) and he ways 173g(today's weight) i just fed him another medium mice earlier... i feed 15% of body weight so right now he should be eating 25g, but he hasn't defected since the 28th of July so i don't know his true weight, but when feeding he seems to take down the mice in minutes, i can see the mice as its going down his neck but then when it is in his body i don't really see anything.. i was wondering if i should start feeding large mice(21-25g) any advice? i feed every 5 days and hes a champ at eating, hasn't missed a meal in 10 weeks.

Thank a lot for all replies :)

He sounds more than ready for large mice/rat weaners.

Yeah, I would move him up. I would try to switch to rats too.

Weaned rats or large mice for that size. That's what I do anyways.

Yeah. Rat weanlings sound about the right size. Baby rats who are transitioning from nursing to solid foods or already done nursing.

    About this size:
