Newbie here...but have been taking care my girl Humperdink since about 1995. She is very particular about when she wants to eat but she is very healthy. She is about 6' long and super active when I let her out to explore the apt. Ive even seen her find her way bck to her cage when I used to let her free in the house, but can't do that anymore since my kitty has been around.
Anyway, I heard the basics of an average ball python just measuring to about 5' at max, largest ever being 7'(yea right!). My girl is about 6' long and I am really amazed about her size compared to what I have read of the average length.
So here's a pic of her on my 6'.5" couch....not quite streched out but she will make at least 6'.
