A happy CL ending

For a whopping $35, I got "Abby", an 1800g normal girl who rode quietly on my lap the whole two hour ride home, just as polite as could be.
I was a bit worried about her being a 'live feeder' but "Grabby Abby" snatched her big fat thawed rat with much joy.
She now has proper heat, humidity, appropriately sized food and a new hide.
Happy ending!

I expect her to really gain weight fast.
She seems to be a very eager eater.

Me too, especially when I don't have to worry about tossing her live rats...LOL

I had a rescue normal that was the same way. Original owners insisted that she would ONLY eat live. When I offered her live, she refused, but when I offered frozen, she went for it without hesitation. She had some health issues though, and I'm glad your girl is so fat and healthy. :)

I'm thinking the kid didn't really know.
She came with a tank with a screen top, an unregulated heat pad, a weird box "hide", a spray bottle and bits of stuck shed here and there.

I think she's just a survivor...:D

Question: When doing a CL deal, is it a good idea to bring probes to check the sex? Or ask them to probe in front of you? I've heard so many bad stories about He-she's etc..makes me nervous about buying from anyone off CL. Would most people even allow you to probe before purchase to confirm sex?

With all of the medical issues you have had with some of your snakes in the not so distant past, I know you are following proper quarantine procedures with this new arrival.

I mean, I hate to even bring it up because it would be insulting of me to even hint that you would not be keeping this new arrival in a separate room, with dedicated husbandry tools and disinfecting your hands, changing your clothes, etc. between handling sessions with your new arrival and your established animals..............

...............for a minimum of 6 months...........

.........and taking a fecal sample to the vet................
