    Well Ill probably start building my rack system this weekend but before I order heat tape from the bean farm I just need a little guidance.
    My bins will be 39 1/2 inches long x 20 inches wide and 7 inches high, how much heat tape should I use on each bin I believe its sold by the foot at 11 inches wide. Thanx for any suggestions, hopefully I can borrow a digital camera and post pics of Plissken and my home made rack soon.

    I figured someone with a rack would have answered you by now. :) I'd think if you insulated the back of the rack that 1' per level would be enough, but I'm not an expert by any means.

    Yep, sorry I don't have a better answer for you. I hope to become experienced with rack systems, but i'm not yet.
