    New member with some questions
Planning on finally getting into the hobby. Have been lurking on here for a long time. Have done lots of reading and researching. Planning on getting a PVC enclosure not sure which one however. As everyone seems to have their favorites and dislikes the completion. Gonna get one 4' long but one that can be divided into smaller quarters for the young BP and expanded as they grow. Just wondering what everyone suggests for height? 12" or 18"? I'm sure more questions will follow but it's a start....

Hi, I recently got the T8 from Animal Plastics (48X24X12)... It is my first PVC enclosure, and I am so thrilled with it. It seems to be perfect in every way, and I can tell my snake loves it. The sliding doors are a great feature, and 12" height is just fine for a BP. Other snakes may prefer more head room, but it certainly isn't needed for balls.

    My opinion,

I just ordered some from Repti-Racks. I ordered 47x23x14. I ordered 14 tall more for myself to have more room when cleaning, feeding, and playing.

Just remeber that if you get built in heat and then cut the cage down with a divider that it is a good possibility that the uth will cover the entire floor area of the part you want to use. You may want to opt out of paying for heat and install flex watt yourself so you can make it a larger uth as needed. Otherwise paying for the uth will be a waste. I also ordered the 47 long because I want a few more large bloods and maybe a boa. Thats really long for a ball, I would save some money and get a 36 inch.
