Wise to change hides after feeding?
I got a baby ball tht is choosing security over thermo regulating. I fed him last night at about 9pm. My question is should I change his hides to better suit him so close to a feeding time or should I wait a couple of days. Temp is around 90 on warm side and 83 on cool humidity is ranging ffor 60 to 70

Minor changes can upset balls, especially young ones. I would wait at least 48 hours and let him digest before changing. Just to be safe. He has hides on both sides?

He does have hides on both sides they just aren't that great. I had a log hide but I tossed it because when I cleaned his tank during feeding lastnight I discovered mold. I use cypress mulch and I ditched the substrate and replaced it. He is a rescue so he is still a bit stressed I have had him for a week. The guy I got him from said he is about 7 months old. I haven't got a scale to weigh him yet but I will soon. I want to get him 2 identical hides and a better water bowl. I posted a thread in General Ball Python titled Beginner and first time post with a few questions if you want the whole rundown on him. He is eating great!

Check out these hides, a lot of people use them. They certainly won't mold & my BPs seem very content.
