    Phase 1 of FoxReptiles.com
I just finished Phase 1 of my new site FoxReptiles.com. I was hoping to get some 1st impressions (please keep suggestions constructive if possible =) .) The design is only the 1st draft, but I think it's heading in the right direction. It is also my 1st foray into developing for the cloud (GAE specifically.)

I'm building in some services to help track the business. Expenses, income, animals, feeding, sheds, weight, etc... If it works out well enough, I might open it up to a select few. If it works well for them, I could continue extending the functionality. I've used sites like iHerp and haven't really found a User Experience that I <3.

Checkout my Captive Bred Ball Pythons on FoxReptiles.com

Take a look and let me know what you think of Phase 1... Thanks!

I think it looks really great so far!
I really love the 'simple and clean' look. Nice colors, font, and sizes.

I suggest putting a little info about yourself on the site. Maybe below your photo slideshow or on a separate page.
And perhaps a gallery/info section of your collection.

Have you thought about writing a little blog about your snakes? Like writing what you're breeding, what you plan on pairing, what is hatching type of updates.

Other than that, I don't have much else to add.
    :)

Thanks. I appreciate your feedback! I'll definitely be adding more content sections soon. Mainly just focused on design so far. The animals on the site are already data driven and I have UI for adding and updating animals and providing images for the font-page gallery. Really looking forward to using it to track all the data about my collection. Maybe layer a mobile app in at some point to be able to update it all through my iPad while I'm at the racks.

So many possibilities... So little time.
