    temp guns to stay away from???
    i'm going to get a new temp gun this weekend and i see many on here that are recomended but i'm wondering if anyone has had some bad expiriences or maybe spent a lot of money one one that was no good. does anyone have any they would steer clear of?

    I'd stay away from dollar store temp. guns, the rest seem to work the same.

    Really? So the $20 options work as well as the $50 or $90 options?

    thats kind of what i was wondering....what would one consider a "dollar store" temp gun?

    I use a $15-20 temp gun off amazon, and it works great.
    I've tested it with my friend's construction work grade temp gun as well as my chemistry glass thermometer.
    Exactly the same.
