i came home today and found sage was not in his/her cage i freaked and ran around and then i found sage under a nonworking heat thing and as soon as i went after sage he/she climbed up inside the thing and i gently pulled him/her out but some of the scales on sages body were messed up will that go away in a shed. Its amazing i didn't even think sage could push it up a little it really surprised me advice to others never underestimate the ball. Oh and it just happened to be on the same day i got a new better tank for sage a 40 gallon breeder snug fit reptile thing its a little big but i got a good deal and i don't half to worry about escapes really anymore.

    The forum looks very nice.........
Was it one of those critter cages with the sliding screen top? The 40 Gal breeder we have has only a hasp (wrong word i am sure) where you could put a lock or pin in order to keep the top secure. Neph has pulled similar with the 29Gal pushing up and towards the front of the tank against the screen. Def keep them lids secure.

The clamps we are currently using are a real pain in the ass though - too damn loud taking off and putting back on - might get some conditioning going there (in a neg way) if every time they hear that loud clacking they know they are going to handled.

yeah i have the same cage it does make that loud noise and i was thinking the same thing and i have it in a spot were i have to be on the side in order to open it because there is not enough space infront for me to pull it out its kinda a pain but i think its worth it the reason sage got out is because i was being lazy with the weight on the top but with this i don't have to worry.
