Rocco is shedding.

We are very excited. Rocco is shedding for the first time since we got him. Which explains why he would not eat yesterday after nailing the rat I gave home a week ago. Can't wait for tomorrow morning to see how he looks in his new skin. I jacked the humidity to the high 70s.

Did he actually start shedding?? I was convinced one night, that our snake was going to shed. I kept peeking in the room where her tank is at- hoping to see it happen. Never happened that night. 4 days later she finally shed. :)

and yes.. its VERY exciting when they do for the first time. And their skin is amazing afterwards

He finished shedding. He has one piece stuck near his head. I left the humidity level elevated. Hopefully he gets it off by himself. He also left me a nice smelly poop. Lol. I peeked in on him this morning. Looks so nice all clean and bright.

Kasi had her first shed with us last week and I was amazed how different she looked.
