    Normal or Morph?
Hey guys. I've had this female ball python for a couple months now and when I got her she was sold to me as a normal. After several sheds though she's just turning out more and more yellow! Her head is yellowing out, her back is SUPER black (unlike my other normal), and her sides are showing BRIGHT yellow scales. Now from what I understand, one of her parents was a Spider and I think the other might have been a bumblebee or pastel? Not sure exactly. But the Spider bit is definite.

Not knowing what the other parent is, what do you guys think? (btw the photos do NOT do justice for how yellow she is)

Why does so many people think that theres something special about their normals. I mean a few little weird alien heads does not make it a morph.

Because lots of people sont know the certain, markers or stuff for morphs so they ask since some morphs can be subtle. Thats why theres a whole thread place dedicated to this question.

OP: Looks like you have a nice looking Normal. Every normal looks different and the variations of pattern, blushing and colour can be limitless which can often lead to the questioning of "Is this a Normal"

Check out the variation of these 'Normals'

lol I think people get normals to start and than see all the awesome morphs and hope deep down that they have something special.. I think that's the starting part of a ball python addiction.

OP go out and get yourself a mojo or a spider or something haha it's just a matter of time before your whole house is aquariums and racks haha.

As for your question, You have yourself a normal.

There's a whole section, because so many people were asking if their normals were morphs, that the morphs and genetics forum was getting over run with them, so we made the sub category. ;)
