Need help deciding between two thermostat and mat setup
I was set on a ZooMed mat and thermostat set up, the thermostat being a Zoo Med Repti-Temp 500R Remote Sensor Thermostat with the regular ZooMed mats, but now after being told by many people that this was a good setup i'm being told its not. So now my other option is a Hydrofarm MTPRTC Digital Thermostat with flukers mats.

I'm just looking for people opinions and experiences with either set up. I've been looking into herpstats so this isn't a forever thing just something for the mean time. The hydrofarm is the cheaper of the too but it has great reviews but so does the ZooMed (my original choice) I just want to hear from you guys.

I actually have a Hydrofarm hooked up to a Fluckers uth right now on a temporary tub. I have to say that both products are working very well and i would suggest them. I do also have two ZooMed uth and they also have worked very well for me. I would suggest to put foil on the sticky side of the uth and then tape it in place. This way you can remove it without damaging it.

I also have a Herpstat1 and absolutely love it. I'm going to get the Herstat4 whenever my new cages arrive.

Hydrofarm and flukers for sure! The best setup you can get without jumping up to a herpstat!
