Yea thats true but words gets thru the grapevine. Somebody has to know somebody that knows someone who has done that project.

Too, though, I think that for a lot of these genetics questions, many breeders are more focused on making new combo morphs than with proving out the genetics of currently established morphs -- particularly when we're talking about fairly rare ones. For one thing, I recon not many breeders have dozens of ultramels and criders in their collections to spare one or two on proving out compatibility -- especially if the evidence so far suggests that they may not get much to show for it. I'd imagine that the temptation to use the breeding stock on projects to create the first ever of a given combo is a little too great for most people. ;)
