There is a guy on craigslist selling a female 600g champagne for $1000. Is this a good deal? Thanks

Sounds too good, be careful craigslist is a gamble. I would at least have it checked out by a vet before making that kind of craigslist deal.

Yes, if it is real. That is the lower end going rate for a hatchling right now.

Ok he told me that the reason he is selling her is that he needs $1000 to fix his car. I'm kinda skeptical as well. I'm gonna have to see her in person and have her checked out before I hand over any money

Be cautious, but I got a female pied a few years ago in a deal like this. She came to me in perfect health, and just dropped 7 eggs about a month ago.

Sometimes people will take a loss, for a faster sale in desperate times. Check carefully on it though.

Occasionally deals off craigslist pan out. I got a gstripe male, 2 2500g+ het gstripe females and a 2500g female albino all in perfect health for $800

I would be a little leery of it because it does border on fishy. Of course, it is possible so I would probably check it out, get pictures, and have it checked out by a vet before committing to it. But if it is true, that's a great deal!

It's always a good deal in the ad, that is until it's not. Sick, unhealthy, problematic and misrepresented animals are always available at a discount. Proceed with caution!
