    Went down to the bay/river with the dogs today, walked through the water and found lots of crabs, saw a jellyfish float by, some fish, and a starfish. Then we found this guy:

    He was found in the water, but I don't honestly know if he was supposed to be in there or not. He seemed to have difficulty climbing through the thick mud in the area (that is covered by water every night, and good couple hundred yards away from actual dry land), and just kind sat still in the water. He walked up my arm alright, and was squishy kinda like a beetle or a centipede. I had an image of him boring into my skin and tunneling through my arm... so I put him back into the water and kept walking.

    Anybody know what this thing is? For location reference, it was in a brackish to mostly saltwater area (lots of other salty creatures), in Olympia, WA.
