Just wanted to share some cute rats I've been making!
It has been months since I have had any velveteen babies pop up, assuming that's what they are called??? They are from standard haired rats, so maybe they are just bad hairless rats???

    Here are the velveteen/hairless dumbos

Just some other cuties I have right now

I'm really excited about the PEW(albino) dumbos!

And a male I held back, his coat is really interesting. I'm not sure if he's "molting" or what, but he's neat! I'm thinking he's a cinnamon? He was more of a mink before this happened.

Yes rats come in cinnamon :)

If those first ones came from standard coat adults then they could be recessive trait hairless.
My guess would be one of the adults is a loose rex with hardly any curl?

Lol yep! Thank you, I really love breeding rats, especially with cute babies like these! The problem I'm running into now is that a lot of people around here want to buy all my fancy rats and I have to buy more and more feeders even though I breed rats!

I don't know, they both look pretty darn normal to me. The father looks nicer/more fancy, but I still think he looks pretty standard
