    We are under contract!
We saw a house Thursday that stood out. Prayed and slept on it. We put an offer in Friday. It was accepted last night!

Now the rest of the process begins. Inspections. Formal loan application. Hope all goes well. Closing. Moving.

    Wish us luck!

    Good luck!

I live with my bro and his ole lady and he just went through the whole process and we've been in the new place for a month and loving it.

That's awesome, congratulations to you guys! You made sure to include a room/basement for your snake area, right? :gj: Hahahahaha! Seriously though, congratulations on that milestone and good luck with things.

Congrats, and good luck with the rest of the process. My wife & I are looking for our first house right now, so I understand the frustration of the search all too well. We keep finding houses that would work if it weren't for some glaring, horrible flaw. "Everything's great, except for the giant hole in the kitchen ceiling," or "wow, I didn't think it was asking too much to have level floors," etc. We've also played a lot of the "wow, that house is WAY too cheap - I wonder what's wrong with it?" game.
