    Bumblebee het pied?
How easy would it be to find, and what do you think it would cost for a bumblebee het pied male? I'm thinking of breeding projects for when my new pied girl matures, and if I want a bee het pied it might just be easier to get a bumblebee and wait an extra generation :P

I like to make my own morph hets myself, just depends on how patient you are or how deep your pockets are if your not patient :)

I would get a Bee Het Pied! You can get a Bee breed it to your Pied and hopefully make a male Bee Het Pied then breed back to Mom but that will take an extra year at least. If you made a Bee Pied, I would not recommend breeding back to that girl because it would already be two generations. I would just buy the Bee Het Pied because it also adds a new Pied bloodline to the collection! Just my 2 cents!

Why you wouldn't breed it back to the mother? Sometimes adding new blood can taint the bloodlines in negative ways. Some lines of Pieds are already known for being poor feeders. Others are known for being voracious feeders.

Mine is definitely a voracious eater, she eats without hesitation. Switched from live mice to f/t rats no problem. That's definitely something to consider.
