    Need Help!!!
I am PANICKING right now :tears:

I just went to check on my little 9 gram hoggie and he isn't in his tub :tears: He was there earlier this afternoon; I took a few pictures of him. His tub was closed. There is no top but it is tight against the shelf above it. He must have squuuuuueeeeeeezed out somehow.

I seriously don't know what to do. He is SO tiny. I've checked the rack, but this feels hopeless. I loved that little guy with all my heart. :( All I can think of is how anything I move could squish him and how hungry he must be (he was going to be fed tonight) and how impossible finding him will be. :tears:

Has anyone had such a small escapee before? What did you do to find it? I'm so hopeless, I feel numb. :tears:

Loose snakes are never easy to find. My African Housesnake got loose twice. He is only 18-24 inches full grown. Systematically tore my bedroom apart 3 times in 2 days and blocked off the bottom of the door to find him. First time I found pretzled up in the wired controllers of the xbox on top of my bureau I got lucky the second time and the dog kept staring at the closet across the hall; he was in my roommate's high heel.

Start from where he was and slowly comb every inch in one direction then go in the other. If he is a climber go top down, also check your other tubs. Check near/in any electronics in the room.

    Good Luck.

How do I systematically search the room when he can fit into literally anything :( Balled up, he's a bit bigger than a toonie (Canadian $2 coin). I feel like such an idiot.. I was in my room all afternoon, if I had just looked over at the right time, I would have seen him. I realized he was missing when I went to label his tub, my mum surprised me with a label maker and I was making labels... Should I put his tub on the ground with a pinky in it? Or should I put a 10 gallon tank on the ground with a heating pad and some pinkies, that way he hopefully wont be able to get out if he gets in.

I wish I hadn't dumped all the clothes from my suitcase onto the floor this morning.

So much for a fun long weekend.

Whew. Wow! Nice! Gratz on finding him! :)

Have a drink and relax for a bit.

By systematically look around the room, I mean take an area of the room and look in/around everything, like a 4x2 area. Take it apart, and look in every inch of it. Put it back together then look in the next 4x2 area. 4x2 is an example, not an exact measurement. The important thing is staying calm. Yes you are emotional and panicking, but if you don't realize you are glancing at something and not analyzing it, you'll miss who you were looking for.

Gratz again and you'll know for next time.

He's definitely a cute little thing, you should take more pictures of him to celebrate him no longer being lost.

    Good thing you found him!!!:D:D
What I would do is put out a teenie tiny little hide under a shoebox or something with a small opening. with the hide atop a heat pad... put it against the wall so he is more likley to go in..
    i wanna pic!
