Does this resemble anything anyone has seen before? We are holding back the suspect 'normal' to breed back to mom, on the chance something will happen...

Normals vary so much it's difficult to say for sure, but I'd do exactly that, breed him back to mom.

They certainly do vary a lot--but she is consistently throwing these phenomenal looking hatchlings, regardless of which male I pair her with--the womas out of her are amazingly orange/gold, the lessers are brighter, blushier, and more contrasty, and that normal is certainly a cut above the usual. Not every hatchling out of her shows these traits, which is another point in favor of there being 'something' there. The breeder I bought her from also thought there may be something there.

That's why I am asking if anyone has seen any of the subtle morphs that resemble this. It will be more difficult to prove if it's something new, and the clutch from that male to her does not produce something noticeably different from her. I'm already convinced that, whatever it is she has, she's passing it on in a fashion that makes her one of the most valuable females in my collection--even more so than my morph females, so far. (Imagine getting that effect in an Enchi...in a purple passion...in a an ultramel).

Donna, I can say with 100% certainty that it is a ball python (python regius).

I you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

I just wanted to be certain it wasn't The Thing in disguise.

Well, I was thinking more like John Carpenter than Marvel comics. I hope Hulk does not smash, that just is not a pretty mental image at all. :(
