    Freshly shed Albino Checkered Garter
So Herbert just started eating weekly again and finished shedding this morning so I took some shots of him and him eating.

He's a solid 18" now and 2 years old so once I move out he will be being plugged into some other checker variants I acquire.

He's him eating his mouse hopper backwards....first time ive seen him do this.

Thanks! He gets more and more yellow and lavender after each shed. His belly was super yellow this morning.

I absolutely love garters I can't wait to move out so I can expand the collection.

:O Never seen an albino garter before. Awesome looking.

Do you keep him on pinkies/fuzzies or do you vary it up with fish in the water bowl at all? I've seen some pet stores feed their garters rosy feeder fish.

I usually keep him on mice but I supplement worms and sardines too.

They eat worms, frogs, and fish in the wild so thats what breeders start with when they are first born. I switch him to mice because it's easier for me.
