Both snakes always hiding under the water bowl

I've purched a little corn a few weeks back, and he'd been using the watering bowl (i have one shaped as a rock) as his hide. I admit he doesn't really have any proper hides apart from two toilet-paper rolls, which is why i never really bothered worrying. The only thing that worried me was the fact that the bowl itself is pretty heavy and if something goes wrong, he's practically going to be crushed by it.

What really bothered me, however, is the fact that i bought a BP last week, with a huge enclosure and a hide (and a huge piece of bark for climbing and whatnot). Its practically heaven and YET even he ends up hiding under the bowl! I don't use any heating equipment because my room is hot during summer (around 25-ish +). Is it because it's probably the wettest (and most humid) part of the tank?

I mean if only one snake liked hiding under the bowl then i'd understand that it's just something he likes doing, but BOTH snakes in completely different vivs? I just don't get what i'm doing wrong. The bowls are quite heavy and i'm afraid of hurting them everytime i try to lift it!

They are just doing what they do best hiding in a safe secure spot.

As they get bigger it will likely change, could there hides be to big ?

25c/77f is a liitle too cold for the snake, that's about what the cooler end of the enclosure should be...

You really need to get the temps up

Yeah i'll install the heatmat later, but then again, if they're feeling cold, why on earth would they go in the coldest area in the viv anyway?

Post a pic of the tanks. Let us see how they are hiding. You should probably get a different bowl they can not get under. As they get larger they will end up tipping and flooding their tanks.
