    Help with an awkward question
I had an awkward question. If a ball python regurgitates it's meal, what is the time frame that it can happen? For example, if it has gone 24 hours without regurgitating is it ok to assume that it will not do it? Do most regurgitations happen with a certain amount of time? My baby ball has taken down the two meals I have fed it since I got her, but was just curious on this one point. Thanks for any help.

Why are you worried about regurge?

They will usually regurge within 24-48 hours if they are going to, but you can safetly handle them 24 hours after they eat without worrying about that.

Some say 24 some say 48 hours...

When I feed my guys on the off month every 4 days I break in the middle then will handle them on the 3rd day after feeding, just to give them a little stimulation, When I go back to the 7 day I handle them after the 3rd day right up to the next time they eat !! My normal one day ate on the couch(I was tired after working 140 hours in 2 weeks)

My Normal is kinda spoiled, He gets fed in a tub, (Outside his tank) after he eats half our to an hour I calmly scoop him up and let him go into his tank.

He's been good since day one

think about how fast We digest food, You basically dump out what you ate today, after 12 hours sleep, Snakes digest at a slower rate

Thank you. Not worried about regurge, just curious. My son wants to hold his ball python, but I want to make sure that he doesn't handle him to early after he eats so as not to cause him to regurgitate. I heard that baby balls under 500g should be eating every 4 days, and I really don't want to handle him the day that he eats so as not to stress him before the meal. So there's like a one day window that he gets to hold him and he would like to hold him just a bit more. I've been telling him hold on we will slowly work up to more handling time. thanks for your thoughts. ANY other thoughts out there??
