My Palm is an AFT Mattress
I'm not used to reptiles with eyelids. This was pretty awesome to see her falling asleep in my hand after only minutes of being taken out. She is my largest Fat Tail weighing in at 51 grams.

I'm still not sure why they call them African Fat Tail geckos.

Here she is normally. These geckos will hang out on your hand forever which is the idea reptile IMO. I hate having to try to catch reptiles when I take them out. When they decide to move they have some of the most precise and slow movements I've ever seen in a gecko. I cannot get enough of them. I have 13 fat tails that are awaiting shipment, a variety or morphs, coming as soon as the weather gets safe enough for them to be shipped. I promise to post a ton of pictures when they arrive. I cannot wait to see the future of this species. Big things are more than expected to come.

I've had more than my share of Leos (not a ton but enough). I've always liked them. They were one of the first reptiles to really get my attention. Fat Tails have them beat in so many ways though. I still keep the calmest Leo I've ever seen in my life and she is still more wild than a Fat Tail. Fat Tails have every single advantage of any reptile species I've ever seen apart from Ball Pythons and still they have the one up on them, NO RODENTS! I don't mind feeding rodents but the cost of feeding compared to feeding roaches is astonishing. I'll never give up on BPs but Fat Tails have so much potential I'd be more than surprised if within the next year if you don't see them expecting the same prices as Banana BPs if not more for some of their combos. They are truly the go-to gecko for personality, morph potential, color/pattern potential, and for the pure all-in-one species.
