    Problem Gestation
    Hello,

I have a problem with a pregnant ball python. She's now about 62 days after pre lay shed and no eggs.
I was waiting 45-46-47 day and then i noticed that my thermometre was indicating a wrong temperature compared to my thermostat! I know it's my fault , result of 50$ thermostat.
So she stayed at 84-86F hot spot during more than 50 days! Now she's at 90-91F , spiral position , sometimes move a bit and i noticed some strange positions by time.
I readed that the gestation depending of temperature , so it's maybe the reason of that.
I contacted two vets but they told me to still wait ...
What do you think? do you have a similar experience?

    Best regards

First question are you 100% Positive that she is gravid?

Here is a quick thing you can do to make sure your female is gravid in the first place, hold her head up and tail down and if she is gravid given the number of days you will be able to clearly see the eggs.

My hot spot is 86 with gravid females (I keep them cooler on purpose) and females seems to lay 40/45 POS which is about 10 to 15 days later than the average of 30 days.

I would keep waiting, if the temps were low she could go longer. Do you have a picture of her?

A temperature issue wouldnt surprise me. One of my girls only had a hot spot of 87-88 and didnt lay until day 47.
