Does anyone know if you can use a this under tank heater(http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2752652) with Vision tanks. I was offered one for 50 dollars for my baby red tail boa.

Not the under tank heater but the the vision tank... It is a model 211 http://www.critter-cages.com/index.p...roducts_id=122

I know on the website it says that you can under tank heaters but I guess I am just kind of confused on how that would work. So if someone can help explain this to me it would be awesome.

(Yes I know I posted the caging section as well but no one is online there so I thought I might have better chance here.

I would think that you could use it, but IMO I'd go with flex watt heat tape. I'm sure you could contact the seller (for the cage) and they could probably give you better advice or I'm sure that some of the experts will chime in eventually. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

If you hit the "Home" button it shows you all the current threads. People don't have to be in the section you post to see it.

It is just a plastic bottom so the heat will work its way through. Should work fine.

Oh okay. Sorry I am still new to the site and figuring things out. I was actually looking at flex watt tape but for the moment I need a source of heat while I wait for the flex watt tape to come in if I do get it.

Be sure to have your uth/flexwatt on a thermostat and you should be fine :)
