Confusing female :( Any input.

Ok this girls been playing me up all season so just thought I'd get some others opinions on her, She shed approx two weeks or so ago and is now refusing food altogether which is seriously unlike her I 'think' I can feel eggs inside her but then again I thought that two months ago. She's been paired and I have seen several successful locks I think she ovulated last around 3-4 weeks ago but I 'think' I caught the end of it but unsure.

Well this is her at the moment does she look like any of your gravid girls ? Shes done the laying inverted and the bowl wrapping and that already.

I can see from the photos and from looking at her in the tub that shes lumping quite a lot and like I said I'm sure I can feel eggs inside her around 5 or so ( she is a virgin breeder and this will be her first clutch )

On a good note the het clowns have been locking and the females been bowl wrapping like no ones business :D

Is she going on the heat or staying cold? That's really important. If she is I say keep waiting if you think she ovulated. You have about 2 more weeks to go!

She's on and off heat well every time I see her shes always under her water bowl so I don't know if thats just where she feels safe because I don't have a hide in there with her.

I have girls that seek hot or cold or are all over the place while gravid. She is looking pretty good to me. Just keep watching for eggs or sheds. You could also try putting a male to her again, if he shows no interest chances are she has ovyd. Based on her perfect coils I'd say she's gravid.

Would be nice to see some pearly whites even if I only get one I'd be happy lol

Hopefully lol theres all the signs so who knows :D

I agree she looks like she could go. I definitely wouldn't throw in the towel just yet. The last thing you want is to not be prepared for eggs if she does go.

Lets hope so lol :) my incubator is always on anyway at 87.8 so if I do get eggs then at least the cooker will be on lol :)

here's the scoop...

she's glowing like I'd expect her to be doing 2 weeks after her preov shed.
She should ovulate before next shed and then the 30ish day wait for eggs begins...:gj:
