July 2012 - PHOTO OF THE MONTH!

It looks like the heat overwhelmed our theme for the month and our attempt to cool off with an "ice cold" theme was not as successful as we'd hoped. Still, we've got some nice shots that will make us all sigh and remember fondly what it's like to be cool!

Yes, all entries are due by midnight on the last day of the month.

Any entries submitted now will go into August's contests...which is fine for BPOM and HOTM, but the POTM changes theme each month, and the new theme isn't announced until the current contest polls are over. :)

photo one reminds me of winter back home with the poor cold robins. looks like it could even be my neighborhood.

I have some AWESOME ice shots I took a few years ago of a paper thin layer of ice over a rapidly flowing brook. :rage::rage:
