double shed after ovy? YUP *update*

Ok here is her activity, she shed on June 15th. Then I noticed she looked BIG on June 17th we assumed she was still building. She shed again on July 1st. Then shed again on July 23rd. Now Aug 1st she is currently laying her eggs right now. I checked and saw one nice n puffy egg so far. So I never seen the full out ovy but she shed 2x. So yeah.. it can happen.. threw me for a loop lol

Yup my female albino did the same thing this year. I thought she was gonna slug out but I have 5 good eggs.

I had a female go thru 2 sheds after ovy before laying as well this year. Sometimes they just wanna screw with ya :D

We got 5 perfect nice sized eggs. Well almost perfect, one is a slight boob egg. They all candled perfectly. Here's to a male mojo and a m or f pastave! :D

Good Luck....I breed my albino to a pied hoping for some double hets. I cut yesterday and it looks like she may have retained sperm from the albino I bred her to last year. I have 3 albinos and 2 Double hets.

Oh wow I heard females cud do that but never heard from someone that it actually happened to them. Then again maybe ur pied is also het to albino?

I wish that were the case but the way my luck has been so far I seriously doubt it.

Too weird. They definitely don't go by the book! I had one female that kept eating and locking until the week before she laid. I didn't think she ovulated yet since she was still locking!

I have another girl in shed right now, scheduled to lay in a week. This is also her 2nd shed since ovy.
