    Pippers!
Opened the incubator to check out my little guys and theres a cute little pipper!! He looks pink so I have no idea what to expect when they're all out. Unfortunately one was very small and underdeveloped and dead and the other went moldy. So I'm hoping for 5 healthy babies but crossing my fingers the rest are okay! He went back in his egg but I'll try and upload a picture!

Also, should I keep checking on them to see if they're out or give them a few days after they pip? I cant see in my incubator so that's why I'm asking. Thanks!

you have to check on their progress and for any problems that can arise. and it's ok to look at them. but don't over do it and stress one in leaving the egg too soon. once they pip, mine usually takes somewhere from 24 to 48 hours until they absorb their yolk and leave the egg.

I am intrigued to see what the one that looks pink is. Are you able to lift the flap and take a pic of its head or something like that? I have a feeling something else is going on with that clutch.

Also could you post a pic of the parents?

Thats the thing. I bought the Normal girl gravid because the guy was moving away.. Only thing I found is a pic of them locking up. Only reason I know its her is she has a specific pattern on her tail with three circles and it was her. Ill try and find it.

Stop poking around and wait a day for the baby to come out. Stressed babies do not eat as well as relaxed babies
