    Jail Break!!
Crap - I had a Corn escape today, squeezed under the screen top. Not enough weight on the screen or the gap is too big.

Where have you found your escapees? Any suggestions on setting a "trap" to get him back?

He's still pretty small, maybe 2ft long tops so he could be almost anywhere. I'm not allowed to post attachments.

Look everywhere! Every nook and cranny! You can try setting out a heat pad or a mouse as a "trap". Check high and low all over your house. I hope you find him!

I got up a couple times through the night, using a flashlight to look into and under nooks and crannies. I'll pick-up some bait today. He is new to me as of last Thursday and didn't eat an offered hopper or fuzzie then so it will be a week at least since he last ate...hopefully he's hungry enough to come out when he smells a mouse.

Good Luck! I had a BP escape, found him behind our laundry basket in the bathroom, three rooms away from his rack.

TY - yea, I'm in a small condo so I'm thinking about isolating rooms with a towels under the doors, put a mouse in each room lol. At least that would narrow it down. If he's in my little walk-in closet, he has a lot of places to hide!!

Don't underestimate some places they can hide, my snake escaped once and i found him 2/3ft off the ground on my computer/radiator

Just because they have no arms or legs doesnt mean that they cant be on the celling. LOOK EVERYWHERE! I lost my corn for three weeks and turned everything upside down. Still couldnt find him and jusr decided to take a quick look in the night when hes most active. Nothing. Even tried putting mice out and water. Didnt take it. I then just decided for him to find me and not do a big one hour search for him. And sure enough the next day, he was on the kitchen counter. Even look in places were you think the corn couldnt even reach at all.

I JUST FOUND HIM!!! LOL - not 15 minutes ago. Thanks for all the tips guys. He was up under a handle on one of these big plastic bins/tubs on the shelf under his cage. I keep a bag a Aspen bedding in it and opened the lid, got the aspen out, grabbed what I needed, but everything back in the bin and when I put the lid of the bin back on, went to latch the handles down & the snake hit the floor. I would have NEVER thought to look there lol!!

He looks good, no worse for wear :)
