Well, the little fellow figured it out!! I woke up and went to check on him only to find him gone!!!! I was soooo worried...the little guy could be ANYWHERE!! His tank sits on a table so the first thing I did was check around the table and guess what?? There he was, curled up on the floor. Hmmm...I'm glad he wasn't too adventurous!! And I'm more careful about keeping him safely inside the tank.
Also, he went through a shed and his skin came off in fairly large patches. I've been reading and it's suggested to boost humidity during this time. I've also read that a pink belly and cloudy eyes are a sign of impending shed..true?? And, finally...will he still eat normally after a shed? I haven't had any trouble feeding him...but just want a heads-up if they go off feeding after a shed.

Thanks again!!!!!! Vigo thanks you for all your help in keeping him a happy, healthy fellow!!!

    Vigo's first escape!!!!!!!
Glad to hear that you found him with out too much of a problem. Yes, when they are getting ready to shed; their eyes cloud up "blue", their bellies get a red tint to it, and their humidity should be increased. I don't feed mine when he is getting ready to shed. I wait for a couple of days after he has shed to feed him. But he should be eatting normally after a shed. hope that this helps.
