    Reptile show advice!
I have a couple questions about reptile shows. First, is it okay to haggle? Like do the vendors expect it? Second, is it a good idea to maybe e-mail a breeder that is going to that show and ask for a specific snake to be brought if they have it? There are only 2 shows in Oklahoma that I know of and they are both very small. And I need specific snakes, but of course I'd like to avoid shipping costs. Thanks!

I think there was a thread not too long about the whole "haggling at shows okay?" issue; I'd do a search on it. Personally I don't see any harm unless you're low-balling.

As for emailing I don't see any harm in asking before hand either if you know certain breeders will be at the show.

I would think that they would expect some kind of haggling. Its a cash sale most of the time and their prices are negotiable. Like DayBreaker said as long as its not a low ball offer, but like $50 off a $400 snake would seem fair. Something like that maybe someone else will chime in.
